Overview
Custom 316L Agitator Shafts for Cheese Processing Vats
ZSCNC supplies drawing-based agitator shafts for cheese-processing and dairy equipment. Provide the shaft drawing, mating interfaces and required inspection scope for machining-route review.
Our Wuxi machining base focuses on CNC milling and turning. Current drawings, material and critical characteristics define the order.
Critical Drawing and Interface Requirements

Shaft diameters and locating fits
Specify journal diameters, bearing and seal fits, shoulders and mating-part requirements. Include the full shaft length and supported machining or inspection condition.
Straightness and runout
Identify datum journals, measurement locations, checking length and the supported condition. No universal runout limit is applied.
Drive and agitator connections
Define keyways, threads, mounting faces, pin holes and blade or hub interfaces. Any reconstructed dimensions from a sample need customer approval.
316L Material and Surface Finish
State the exact material grade, stock condition and any hardness requirements. Suitability for the product, cleaning chemicals, temperature and loading is assessed for the intended application. 316L is not an unconditional corrosion, hygiene or wear guarantee.
Specify surface texture, measurement locations and finishing allowance at sealing, sliding or contact areas. Grinding, passivation, electropolishing or other secondary processes need an agreed route and acceptance criteria before quotation.
Manufacturing and Inspection Scope

We review workholding, tool access, process sequence and inspection access before order acceptance. Achievable tolerances depend on material, geometry and the confirmed measurement method. Our base has no in-house 5-axis, EDM or wire-cutting equipment.
Inspection reports, material certificates, heat-number traceability and application-specific documents must be requested in the RFQ. Availability is confirmed for the selected stock and order. EN 10204 3.1 documents and regulatory or hygienic certifications are not included by default.
See our drawing-based quality inspection information. No unverified CMM, scanning, balancing or metallurgical-testing capability is assumed.
Assembly and Application Validation

Agitation performance, balance, vibration, fatigue life and cleanability require validation of the complete shaft and drive assembly. No zero-contamination result, universal machine-brand fit or fixed service life is promised.
Replacement geometry and any material or finish change require customer approval. Related information: CNC turning scope and dairy-equipment parts.
